Top Case position relative to GS Adventure rack ???

Could anybody with a top case fitted to a GS Adventure tell me how far forward the top case is mounted.

A position relative to the rack (cross member perhaps) rather than the saddle would be useful. A photo centred side on to the front edge of the box would be outstanding!

More forward would seem to be more stable, but I don't want it to interfere with pillion comfort. And I have to drill to mount it!

The back of my top case frame is 200mm behind the front edge of the rear light unit (08 GSA). My case has the BMW back rest pad and it seems to suit the few pillions I have carried (actually only 2).

The BMW top case is not large should not be loaded enough to affect handling that having it 1n inch further forwards or back will change. Also an uncomfortable passenger will affect the bike more than a box placed for ideal(?) weight distribution.

If I was really bothered about weight distribution, the case could go on the pillion seat position. Bolts holes already exist

I'm not using the top case frame, I am mounting a Zega Pro box on their standard mount plate. So a measure of the box front edge relative to something on the frame would still be welcome.

The case mounting lock fits over the rear of the mounting rack so its just arithmetic.
