I'm on with my trip report from my recent Alaska trip and I thought I'd put a couple of vids from my helmet cam as the report is taking a while.

This one is a section of the Top of the World Highway which runs from Chicken Alaska to Dawson City Canada. This section is red dirt and great riding at about 60mph:thumb

Chris, What was the longest that you think you went without seeing another vehicle ?

Hard to say but possibly an hour or so on those roads but there was little of no traffic for most of it. I remember always being a little suprised when seeing another vehicle.

I timed it in Wyoming in 2005 and the record was 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was doing about 70 mph so that was a long way without a vehicle coming the other way:thumb2

Strange first post I admit, but did the bike you were using on this trip happen to have the reg. number P9*5 WOS?

It's on the ship I'm working on, just arriving in Panama today, current schedule says it will arrive Southampton on the 17th September.

Bloody hell, what a small world:thumb

Look after the old girl Iain. She's had a tough old time and I promised her a nice cruise home:D

Sorry to divert you from the trip report that everyone is waiting for but can you please tell me what kind of helmet cam you used? Quality is really good!

Cheers

I use a starcom camera system as it runs through my starcom on the bike. It's a bit fiddly to use and has lots of leads but it's a good solid piece of kit

Looks amazing Chris can't wait for the RR.

Hope you are well and thanks for your help the other day.

Cheers Tom

Oh wow!

Can't wait for the ride report...
