I'm staying in Wells for the week from this Saturday and would really appreciate any suggestions for routes, roads and stop-offs.
Of course, if anyone fancies a run-out, that would be brilliant.

Fish n chips at Wells next the Sea.

Riding along the coast road from Cromer to Hunstanton must be great,I've only done it in our 1972 VW camper. Enjoy

pm sgr he had a route we did around that area with an ATR/XRV rally last year taking in the litttle car/bike ferry.

from Wells

Coast road gets a bit busy in summer but plenty of brilliant B roads to try, Recommend the Gin trap Inn at Ringstead for good beer and grub for a very short run:D Cheers :beerjug:John B

Thanks very much for these suggestions chaps - much appreciated. I'll be certain to give them a go..:thumby:

Probably Reedham Ferry.

The run along the coast to Hunstanton is a nice road. Bit busy this time of year though. Bikes meet there on a Sunday.

I may be down that way visiting the Memsahibs mother in Sherringham

Blakeney hotel allways good
as for the roads as previous posters have said the coast roads are decent but often busy (usually with tractors)

head inland and explore the Gnarleys they are quite good

Thanks again chaps.:thumby:

I'll be out and about early when the snotty weather passes so may miss most of the traffic.

All roads lead to Wiveton Hall farm cafe......mmmm....full english breakfast, cakes for the day and finish off with tapas (on Saturdays) .....made myself hungry :D

Also consider 'Pedders way' if you are a little more adventurous - nice hard packed byway which you can take to from near Wells all the way to Thetford. Was a Roman road back in the day. Takes you past Castle acre amongst other historic landmarks. :beerjug:
