Top tip .

I have just acted on a top tip form Steptoe,re angle of lean on side stand.
Ice hockey puck..
And for £2.99 inc p/p off ebay. It works a treat fitted on to the bottom of sidestand, with 3 selftapping screws.
It raises the bike lean angle and gives the stand a bigger footprint.
Thanks Steptoe, when are you comeing back up to Worcs for another serviceing day.

dont need one , my mate got me a touratwat one for christmas,

I just went to the local skating rink and asked the lads there if they have any old pucks? told them i was taking them on a little journey and they gave me two for free... result.... one for GSA and the other for the Dakar... Ask and ye shall recieve...

fitted mine last week after removing touratech one , it was more of problem getting the touratech one off than fitting the puc -allen heads had took a hammering from the gravel , , hoping the extra height will take the uneasy tipping over feeling away when fully loaded , top tip this one !!!

Ah.. you can buy what called a practice puck... its a softer compound that won't slide... quite grippy actually.

.......... now if you had two and put velcro on them .... then you can have a nice couple of knee sliders ...... ....... much better idea ....
