You have to say Thunders has commitment when it comes to top boxes. Yours John is very "Sam Bowne". Do you have the matching open face helmet (sans peak) Mk 9 goggles big gauntlets and of course the Sam Browne belt combo to do a top box like that justice?

I'm thinking of using the plate to munt a number of "boxes" for different occasions not all at once.

Just found these currently on offer and before ahyone asks no all 3 just the middle one.

the pd with box fitted with hose clamps belongs to me, i got the clamps from parker hose and fittings.

and no need for a pillian seat its a sidecar outfit.

As for practicality, since when has touring on an ancient 15 year old air cooled bike been practical? We do it cause we love it.

I love it cos its so practical....Oh an mines 32 years old and beats a Modern for practicality everyday

Im a mobile mechanic and have been using an old Rickman top box, it pretty much stores all the tools that I need for my work. I bought it used and just spray painted it and organised me tools with some tool box foam inserts (adding the link here in case anyone wants to check it out). its pretty solid, keeps all the tools in place and looks good as well. thinking of updating to a new SHAD. anyone used this brand here? or should I get a pelican case?
