So my Givi AF330 should arrive tomorrow :bounce1

I've got torbinators fitted to my stock GS screen (2006 vintage) which made a vast improvement. Nearly eliminating buffeting. Sub 50mph it's puuuurfect.

Question is, Givi AF330 on its own or with torbs?

I'm 6ft5, so torbs would give screen a little more lift with less extension?

Thoughts? :thumb2

The tobinators will reduce the angle of the screen not provide lift or extension. If you're 6'5" and you're using the tobs and getting no buffeting on the stock screen it's probably at an angle where your helmet is in clear air, hence no buffeting.

I hate buffeting, so I now use a slip screen which is tiny (9 inch) and leaves from mid-chest up in clear air.

Why not try it both ways and see which is best? :thumby:

I'm not tall enough to need the whole thing raised but used Tobs to lean the GSA and 330 screen back (high front low back). I now have the 330 on short Wunderlich Vario mounts which seem to suit me better.
Try it at all angles and see what suits.

Not used Tobs , but fitted winglets with my 330. Great result, can ride all day with my flip top up. I'm 5' 9".

No Tobinators on mine but 6"2 with the AF330 and its perfect no buffeting and i dont even have the screen slid up to the top setting on the AF330 great bit of kit.

Fitted yesterday. Really looking forward to trying it!

As other reviews have suggested, the instructions really are crap!

Get the black knob screen adjusters on the correct side of the bike and don't forget to fit the Givi spacer washers and it all goes together quite easily. I found the OEM screen angle adjusters were the biggest hassle but that was partly due to butchering by the previous owner.
