As I've been tinkering with the 1150GSA to get the set up just right the one area I'm a bit stuped on is the wind shield. With the standard GSA screen on the bike I get terrible buffeting and noise. Without it the buffeting/noise is reduced but then I get hit by the full force of the wind which isn't great on a 'sit-up' bike like the GS.
So, do I buy torbinators (quite pricey
), or a different shaped screen (recommendations?) or are there bolt bits for the existing screen or perhaps some modifications to its shape that help?
I'm assuming its all down to shape and angle and the ability for air to pass underneath but is it truly possible to find a sweet spot between hellish buffeting and just taking the wind on full frontal. I don't mind investing the money on a solution that works but would like to investigate some 'home made' options...
