What 3/8" drive torque to buy any reccomendations dont think that top of the range is required for light use duties max nm required for m/c use please.
For a cheap torque wrench you can buy non calibrated ones which are not much use when you need to be accurate. I bought a calibrated Teng 3/8 for doing the accurate stuff, but have a non calibrated 1/2 inch for doing the wheel bolts. The wheel bolts need to be done up alot tighter than a 3/8 torque wrench will reach.
Somebody will be along shortly to shoot the above down

Picked one up a few weeks back and have to say, it looks and feels like a good piece of kit. IIRC it does around 5-25nm, so perfect for working on the bike

To guarantee a torque wrench setting each time you use it you need use a torque meter to check the break neck or reading on the wrench. the graduations or scales are only for guidance. just because you buy it calibrated doesn't mean it stays calibrated.
Eliminator - I'm originally from Allbrook, all my family still live in and around Eastleigh
Personally I rarely ever use one because they remove all thread feel making it too easy to over-tighten a thread. Mine usually only comes out for specialist work like engine parts where balanced torques are needed.
