Anyone know a good place to buy a reasonably priced (ie. cheap) torque wrench, 0-30Nm would be ideal?

I buy my tools from http://www.justoffbase.co.uk who are based in Bury St Edmunds. Cheapest place on the net as far as I can tell.

How about this one? Sealey STW101 5-25 Nm ?

Their search engine is a bit suspect so I normally track down a part number on another tool site and then use that to find it - eg: 'sealey torque wrench' will reveal most but not all of them.

RiDE recommends...

from memory, the Halfords "own label" did very well,

and Amazon.co.uk have books about them. :D

Halfords professional range. 3/8" drive. Excellent quality. £50. I have one and am well pleased with it. It was also Ride magazine 'Best Buy' if that means anything?!?!

Have a look at the Discount Offers thread. I've just found an excellent supplier. Send an e-mail, quote the Sealey part number, it will appear in the hand-tools section as if by magic within a day and be cheaper than the Sealey offer price.

Me and torque wrenches dont mix.. last time i used mine stripped the bolt on the rear caliper... misread the readings!
