Torx Drivers & Sockets

I need to get myself a decent set of Torx drivers and sockets, went to adjust switch gear, handlebars etc. today and couldn't as they all seem to be Torx.
Any recommendations?

Aldi were selling a T-handled set of torx & allen keys a few months ago, I bought some & they're OK.

I also bought a set of sockets from Halfords.

You'll only need to go as high as T55 if you plan to fit engine bars or T50 for the rear wheel.

Hi,

I bought a set of halfords tools which does the job. They are a pretty complete set of spanners and it includes a set of Torx and allen key bits.

This is basically the set I got

I saw them the other day when I was there to get a new syphon hose selling the same kit for half price.. It maybe worth while giving them a call and see if they still have the offer on.

Rear wheel is T50. Don't use T45 as you run the risk of damaging the bolt heads.

you're correct of course, don't know where T45 came from!

Remember when using them to always overestimate the size you need and work your way down the sizes as the size smaller than you need will fit but you'll strip your bolt heads!!

Or alternatively, when you have the size that fits, try the next size up just in case that fits even better.
