Torx screws

Hello again, new bike delivered today (pics will follow) and I have what looks to be a couple of missing screws in the plastic moulding above the headlight. Think they'll be a Torx 25 head but does anyone happen to know the mm and length of the screw so I can find a couple of replacements - given the location, empty holes would gunk up pretty quickly

Input your VIN to realoem.com and you maybe able to find them in one of the diagrams. They usually quote the length and pitch of the fasteners.

If you got it from a dealer just ask them, that’s the kind of thing they’ll have a box full

If the two top fixings are missing, wind could get under it and stress the two side fixing points of the plastic trim. I would chase the dealer for replacements asap.

Take it back and tell them to fit them. As a new bike it should be complete in all respects and their PDI/pre service should have found these, you'd have paid for the service.

Take it back plain and simple.

They are only on rare occasions different on the plastic, take one out close by and measure with a vernier caliper.

Absolutely, that's just not acceptable, surely its not a brand new bike, and shame on dealer if it is...

Trip to Arden in my future - it’s used but as you say, should’ve been done. Just figured sitting on Amazon and buying a couple is cheaper than my time and fuel…

If it’s a new bike, just take it back to the dealer and get them to sort it.
