Torx set for hex head

Hi
What is the range of sizes required for general maintenance work? And would a Draper 10-80Nm range torque wrench be OK or are there better ones at reasonable cost? Going to be doing a 30k service so need to be kited out with suitable tools have lots of sockets and a Snapon dial torque wrench but thought a wrench the clicked when at the right torque would be better than using one that you cannot always see the dial when tightening having said the it is probably a very good tool Snapon normally are.

I have been using a cheap Kamasa set for years, eBay item number:291695251972 Torx up to T55 which covers everything I can think of on a 1200Gs.
I can only hope that they are the same build quality as when I purchased mine.
Only ever broken one bit which was my fault, a rush job not on a bike using a Snap-on 1/2 air impact gun.
I have had a Kamasa socket set for over 40 years with very few casualty's, in fact broken more snap-on sockets.
Tools are in daily use.
Would agree the click type are easier all my torque wrenches are that type.
I can`t see that there would be any problem with the draper one. If in doubt check it against your snap-on torque wrench.

I would highly recommend the Halfords Advanced/Pro tools.

I just bought a set of the torx sockets and they should cover pretty much anything I want to do on the bike.

Very good quality and they have a lifetime warranty this used to mean taking the receipt and the tool back but now just turn up with the broken item and they replace it on the spot.

With the ratchets they used to give a repair kit but agin now they just replace the broken item.

Good quality tools are much nicer to use and have useful warranty. It depends what you want to use and what you need to use.
Torque wrenches -get good quality mine is a Norbar.
Sockets get six point cheap will do unless you intend to rebuild a car.
Torx key sets are from about £20. Mine was cheap an the socket adapters are crap but they fit a 10mm socket and I've not yet broken one.
Hand spanners my favourites are original Kamasa from the 1970s only one open end got bent -entirely my fault. Halford look lovely but I find the shanks are thin. However when I can justify I will probably buy a complete set.

No, I don`t get them calibrated every year, But I am not doing production assembly.
However I do check them against each other (2 x 10 mm sockets and a piece of 10 mm hex Bar.
You can always borrow a new one off the snap on van to try it against if you only have one wrench.
My set comprises of 5 Torque wrenches which covers more than the range I need.
If they are re-set to zero every time they are put away and are not in production use they should not go out of calibration.
I have one Torque wrench over 35 years old and still spot on.
