Meeting in Vilnius!

Hello from Vilnius!

I was planning to meet the Tossers on the road, riding the Scarver, but I saw whats coming (rain) and headed home Printed out those photos Liv sent me and took off, aiming the hotel - by bus!

What a blast; meeting those Tossers, looking over the bikes, taking photos and chatting! I enjoyed these hours and I hope they will have a safe journey to-morrow! I presume they will meet up with the small group, coming up to Vilnius through Poland. My plan? to meet "The small one" on the road with my Red One and escort them safe and sound into Vilnius and settle them down to their camping

To-day; a blast, to-morrow; another one! Liv; I forgot to ask for those adresses Shame on me! If I can figure out how to send those photos

when the rain stopped Gazza and I had a walk round the town - which was very beautiful when we could see it

Todays update: All remaining tossers arrived at the Hotel in Berlin.

We invaded Germany from Poland makes a change.

Today some were mostly looking for brake pads. At least 4 tossers have worn them down to the steel - how? dont know. Greg and others went to the main dealers in Warsaw and they had 2, yes TWO sets.

Timolgra, Bazza, Mick (not on the site) and me went off roading for acouple of hours on the back roads between Poland and Germany. AND I DIDNT FALL OFF Also learned to wheely today - big and clever.

Wild drivers trying to push us off the road all the time and roads with worse ruts than the green lanes of Surrey. All good fun.

Good news is the I heard at dinner that BHT has rejoined us after a few days in Sweden and an exciting trip via Denmark.

Off to the BWM factory in Spandau tomorrow so I.ll let you know if we get a glimpse of the 1200 adv.

You just cant go anywhere these days. There we were, doing the Baltic tour "PROPERLY" and travelling NOrth near Warsaw when Basil goes past South in a group of 4 GS's, then about 15 more past as we were in a petrol station.
IS there no peace anywhere????!!

You guys got a big wave from Sid, Reggie the Cameraman, Dazzer and Mike D!

Polish drivers are complete nuts and the ruts in the roads have to wobbled through to be believed....

Just a quick note to say that it was me that fell down the steps on the Moss ferry, I have rejoined the party in Berlin after a quick dash down through Denmark. No word from Owen, (the broken down 1100 rider) everyone is concerned as to whether he has made it home safely, as we have not heard from him.
