Tossers in South of France

Can any Tossers living in the south of France give me an Idea what the weather/roads conditions are like between Pau - Somport- Jaca at the moment?

Thinking of trundling down to Spain at the end of the week, any info would be much appreciated.

Try this www.meteo.fr tell it the region or town and you should get it. Sorry its not a direct link but you can google it or that should take you there directly. I am just inland of St tropez/Grimaud and the forcast today and tommorow is v-wet v-windy but the following 6 days are forecast good.

Did this in April/March 2008, the road over the Mountains was only passable to vehicles fitted with snow chains.. this was the road approaching the tunnel..

We live just east of Lourdes, its been snowing all day! and we are at 425m above sea level about the same altitude as Oloron St. Marie. Weather is very changeable in the mountains, most mountain passes are open, but as previously mentioned by 'Sleepy' some only with the aid of snow chains. The temperature at the moment is around freezing with snow forecast for us most of this week, but by the end of the week temperatures are meant to be around 9, with warmer temperatures the following week.

If you're our way, call in for a cupa (proper English tea!)

Oliwoof your pricing is this the same for per person per room on a no shair bases or is this dearer???

For B&B the price is per room and for Tours its price per person. We dont have a single occupancy surcharge.

Hi,

We live about an hour east of Pau.
Agree with Oliwoof, weather is very changeable, particularly at this time of year as we approach Spring (he says hoping!!)

Good dumping of snow again yesterday and temperatures down to freezing even at low altitudes.
