The Tossers-in-the-Tejeda VI trip is designed for you to ride your own trail bike around some of the best trails in Europe and is based in the village of Competa in Andalucia, southern Spain.
Your bike and riding gear will be transported from the UK to Spain by enclosed van and will be delivered to Competa in time for your arrival on Saturday 12th October. The bikes and gear will be returned to the UK probably on 21th October.
You will need to get yourself to Malaga airport by midday on 12th October from whence you will be taken to the accommodation for the week.
The accommodation will be single rooms in the Gaudi-esque rural hotel Alberdini. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, pool, free wifi and, from the terrace, stunning views as far as the Rif mountains in Morocco. Rooms (all pre-booked) will be from €30 per night including breakfast. Everyone pays their own room, restaurant and bar bill directly to the hotel at the end of the trip.
Bike transport will be by a self-drive hired van. Van loading and unloading will be in north London. Loading will probably be on Wednesday 9 Oct; unloading Monday 21st. Riding gear and luggage can go in the van meaning that you only take hand luggage if flying. All share equally in the costs of bike transport (likely to be around £275 per bike).
Airport transfers will be with a car hired for the week (which we will also use as a runaround when not riding). Again, all costs shared equally (less than £20 each).
This year's trip is limited to 7 places - four of which are already taken.
PMs if you're interested please.
