running high psi keeps the temp low - I hope

1440 miles and 15 fuel stops is the plan

leave at 17:00 on Friday with the ambition to be at the hotel by 17:00 the next day - assuming I get on French soil by 22:00 French time I'll need to average including stops 70MPH

... I might be a bit later than 17:00:rolleyes:

Can I just rock up at the Channel tunnel barrier and buy a ticket?

Send us a text when you're leaving - we'll all be in the Alberdini bar.

:friday

If you arrive after we've all gone to bed on Saturday/Sunday/Monday, your room key will be under the door mat.

So a week today we will all be scratching our heads blaming wreford for coming last in the quiz!
My money is on 3am Sunday arrival €5

Just trying to decide via Paris or Rouen, I've always taken the Rouen route in the past.

This time I want to take the fastest and the one with the most service stations.

I'm going to try and get away a few hours earlier (15:00) and hopefully be on French soil @ 19:00

Location is in the SatNav and street view has been viewed - reckon Ill be in time for the quiz, but of no use, I'll be going straight to bed!

Been out setting up the lights tonight, got some amber filters for the LEDs much kinder on the eye

I would go via Rouen myself - the road from Calais is fast and only has one peage station. Then head to Tours, Bordeaux, Beer Ritz, Burgos, Madrid, Granada.

From Granada, head straight to Motril and take the fast coast road to Nerja before heading back inland and up the mountain to Competa. Don't be tempted to take a shorter route between Granada and Competa.

Check those service stations are all 24 hrs as well

Bikes all ready

Bandit is on his way; the van (aspiring + MrTickle) left at 4am this morning.

:)

Lows of 16 and highs of 27 won't be needing the goretex jacket then!
