Tossers Tipple Premium Gin

I will need some lemon to do a proper comparison ...

And probably some Nuerofen

( L to R: Cadenheads 54%, TT, Cadenheads 47%* and Di's dad's homemade blackcurrant gin.....)

*against which all others are judged

You're starting a wee bit early there Wully, the suns barely up let alone over the yard arm.

You need to give your Dad a bottle of TT to use for a special Blackcurrant gin and compare that with his standard one.

Paypal sorted and PM sent sir.

Canny wait :)

You'll have to. But only until tomorrow.

Friday night can be Tipple time:thumb But be careful and learn from that idle jobless Tosser who posted previously. His Tipple arrived but he didn't have his preferred makings in the hoose!

Tis a wise man that learns from the mistakes of others:bow :ChrisKelly

Crikey! This is getting serious.....

Would you buy a Ducati 1098R (do they make such a thing?) and try and run it on parafin?

But don't worry, even ordinary "Schhhh" will be OK at a pinch. Try it straight over ice. (The gin)

I have a mains water filter at home and when you're used to filtered water the taste of chlorine from raw tap water is surprisingly strong.

I am glad you asked, makes you look stupid and not me!

:blast

My normal way is a 300ml glass....slice of lime in, then 6 standard ice-cubes, a 100ml can of Schweppes Indian Tonic water and top the glass to half to three quarters of an inch from the top with gin.... mix with naked lady swizzle stick:

Not sure how to proceed with this one though......

No such thing as it's down so much to personal taste.

For me? Gin in freezer, ice as cold as possible, tonic in fridge.

As a summer drink on a hot day about one part gin to three parts tonic ina very tall glass 1/3 filled with ice (made with filtered water). A wedge of lime lightly squeezed into the glass.

As an "a pair of teeth" nearer 50/50 gin to tonic otherwise the same. With the strength of TT though I might go nearer 40/60 gin to tonic.

Also great with ginger beer, bitter lemon, as a Dry Martini cocktail or neat with a dash of Angostura bitters for the hard core admiralty traditionalists. In or out to taste.

What other mixers do you mix use with gin?

Hi Packer

Just getting a bit worried down here in the flatlands of East Anglia - everyone else seems to be getting their TT, but not a sniff of it here. Have you sent it out yet, or has the delivery man done a runner?

Was looking forward to an interesting weekend.

Penguin

PS - it's even been raining here today!
