TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY- WARRANTY DIRECT

Back in year my GS warranty needed renewing so reading about Warranty Direct appeared to be the best company so I read up and it appeared they cover more than BMW warranty my Gs stopped on me last week my local bike dealer has spent most of the week trying to get through to be told WE DON'T cover that?? Joke and guess what failed fuel pump control relay???

Any body else had there's replaced via warranty direct???

Thanks for heads-up I need to sort mine in next few weeks.

May go back to BMW again, although last year I never managed to get any documents, but when I claimed the work got done.

It does piss me off that between the dealer / BMW / BMW Warranty they have done bugger all to sort out htese documents or offer an explanation / apology after what must be 20 phone calls, several E-Mails and a complaint letter - but better have shite customer services and fix the problem than provide a load of paperwork and then refuse a claim!

Why so keen on paper work? you can read the whole document on line any time you like and being frank if you have a good relationship with your dealer they fudge the warranty to suit. Life is too short to hassle over a piece of paper.... and the second, third year etc you don't even get a renewal notice they just continue until you cancel it.

I researched warranties a while back and found reams and reams of negative reviews for Warranty Direct... I mean literally hundreds (easily 80% of what I found). So I came to the conclusion that there's probably a good chance that Warranty Direct are shite! This is just confirms my suspicions. I did look into the AA Warranty programme and it looked pretty good... maybe they're worth checking out?

I have a friend who owns a car garage and he does AA warranty work and reckons they are definately one of the better ones out there, he does not sell cars or these warranties so it should be a decent recomendation
