Now that Metzler have done the "Next" tyres in a size to fit the F650GS
Has anyone tried these on the 650? If so what do you think?

Yup - I've got them on the 650GS.

I hadn't asked for them - they were delivered instead of the EXPs I asked for. The shop honoured the price for the EXPs and fitted the next.

I was a bit worried at first as I had quite a serious skid on them when I thought they should have been scrubbed in (although I was doing an emergency stop to avoid a car coming for me on a roundabout ).

Having said that, I have to say, once (well and truly) scrubbed in, I loved them............. I rode round Austria in the pissing rain and whilst others were complaining about "twitches" on the overbanding, I never felt anything. I'd deffo have them again but they seem to wear quite quickly.
