Tourance Prices.

Hi,

What's the going rate for a rear tourance? (150/70 17)

Did a quick phone round yesterday and the best price was £94 fitted to a loose wheel. (compared to £150 from a certain dealer in the southport area!)

I'm sure that I only paid about £80 last time I bought one.

No probs, SMD in leigh (01942604511) are the cheapest I've found as yet, But £94 still sounds a bit steep.

It might be worth checking the fitting/balancing charges for customer supplied tyres.Should be less than a tenner,but some shops/garages charge mechanics rates.I was quoted £23 to fit to loose wheel.

Thanks guy's! I bought a tyre from moto-tyres as recommended, paid £81.50 for it, and a local bike shop right near where I work in runcorn will mount it for a fiver.
