Touratach aluminium cases

Can anyone help??...

I have just ordered a set of 41ltr touratech aluminium cases for my 1100gs, the left hand case has a cutout for the exhaust. As i have a remus revolution exhaust fitted to the bike will this fit into the cutout on the panniers or do i need to refit the original exhaust...

Haven’t got a set myself but I’ve seen them fitted to both an 1100 and an 1150 with Remus exhausts so you should be OK. Not sure if any modifications are required though.

You can order a set specifically for aftermarket exhausts it has a different cut out.

I know there are two different sets for the R1150GS, but only can find one for the R1100GS. Did you already ask Touratech?

I received my 41L set two weeks ago with the cutout for the Remus exhaust. Still have to install it. I'm still waiting on a small aluminium tube to shorten the rear turnsignals instead of using the ones Touratech delivers with the set. (I'm also replacing the turnsignal bulbs with the LED-inserts from Boxer Design, and these arrived only today) This will be a job for next weekend.

Heat !

Your Touratech set will fit with your remus.{it may take some persuasion}
The only thing is that you will need some way of taking the heat away from the end of the exhaust.
If your remus is oval you can get a piece of stainless pipe
and bend it to the oval shape drill a wee hole in the the end of the remus and the oval pipe and lock in place.
Do not underestimate the amount of heat generated by your
exhaust at the end,
