Considering the Touratact Magura Fat Bar kit (for BMW heated grips) on my 1100GS. The kit comes with 30mm risers which I believe also convert it to the bigger bars. Now in the description a spill in the catalogue they recommend the 60mm risers for these bars yet give you the 30mm ones!. Has anybody got or used this kit? Dose the 30mm risers included bring the bars up to the same or above the original BMW steel bars.
I currently have 25mm risers (on STD bars) and the height is OK but still a bit of a stretch to the bars as I am a short ar$e. I have also got Nippies 1" up 1&1/4 back risers to change them for too help this. I am sort of considering using the touratact bar kit and the NN Up & back risers but think it will look a bit of a transformer gone wrong and not very rigid. Any of you tossers got experience of fitting this kit and dealing with these kind of issues?
