Touratech Aventuro

Identical, they are one and the same item, only difference is the price and the TT stickers on.

However when I come to get a full face I am seriously looking at this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/SIERRA-ADVENTURE-MOTORCYCLE-MOTORBIKE-TOURING/dp/B00JBANIWM
some very good reviews, and as I have a flip front shark I only want a full face for occasional use.

Looks like a lot of lid for the money... but is that chin a little low, making life savers hard? An issue for me as I don't run mirrors on my dirt bike!

The TT is 100 grams lighter than the Nexx due to the carbon shell. The Nexx would get my vote as it has a drop down sun visor. Personally I wouldn't have another helmet without a drop down visor. :thumb

I ordered a Nexx XD1 - found getting on and off a pain in the ears and as others have said, every time I took it off it dislodged the cheek pads. Also the drop down visor doesn't drop far enough with the bottom edge being in your eye line so sent it back. Went for an Xlite 551 which didn't cost much more and was better quality in my view.

Cheers

And I've had an XD-1 for a couple of months now. Very nice helmet, no problems getting it on or off. Comfortable fit, quiet, excellent ventilation, some great features and good quality, No issues with the drop down visor which works perfectly for me (and is better than the one on my Shoei GT-air). Great visor which works very well in wet weather with no steaming up.

All in all an excellent helmet at a good price IMHO, which I guess shows that buying a helmet is a very personal thing and folk should always try before they buy.
