The little bits of tape are pigging useless! I've tried velcro patches which work fine till rainwater gets behind the glue. The protectors do a fine job :augie but they're going to drop off on the A50 if I cant find a better way of attaching them. So how do you stick yours on?

Not completely sure of the application but if you are looking for strong double sided sticky stuff then go to the car accessory shop and ask them for some of the stuff they sell for attaching number plates.

Snuffle back hard and hoik up the thickest grobby you can muster then flob it onto the back of what you want to stick ..... :)

Failing that you could just use some clear silicon .... :thumb

Automotive panel adhesive, 'sika flex' or similar is what I used as I was fed up of picking them off the floor in the mornings.

As others have said, better double-sided sticky stuff.

I went to Brown Brothers and bought a roll of suitable stuff and a tube of black body seam sealer.

Drop the protectors into a bowl of very hot water to soften them slightly, dry thoroughly, apply the sticky-tape and while they're still pliable offer them up.

Once in place go around the edges with the body sealant to stop crap getting behind and growing fungus in there.
