Hi, I'm thinking of buying the Touratech "windscreen spoiler" and their "windscreen support". Just wondered what anyone using either of these items had to say about them before I commit more dosh to the bike!
Thanks

Spoiler for windscreen BMW R 1200 GS £ 57,85
This spoiler unit is simply clamped to your windscreen. Wind protection can be improved considerably, and the noise level can be minimised when riding at relatively high speeds.
If you should then decide to ride off road, the spoiler can be unmounted easily with the clamp mechanism and packed away. Thus, the disadvantage or risk of injury when riding off road is considerably lower than when riding with a higher windscreen. No tools are required for mounting; everything can be performed at the bat of an eye.
The spoiler is only suitable for the original windscreen. We make explicity clear that the strengthing elements Hard Part for windscreen R1200GS Alu (product number 044-0380 ) should be used.
The increase in windscreen height is approx. 112mm.
Size: approx. 260mm x 158mm x 55mm
Weight: approx. 250 g
Windscreen support BMW R 1200 GS
*Hard part windscreen support* £ 28,92
The windshield of the R1 200 GS "shakes" quite strongly, especially at low revolutions and on fast trips. Sometimes it shakes so strongly that real turbulence occurs and the in no way bad wind protection of the R1200GS decreases significantly. Even using the small hard part windshield aluminium parts ( item no. 01-044-0380-0 ) is of relatively little use in this special case because the forces simply act further up. With this support the windshield is supported at more places and the problem is almost eliminated. It is very easy and quick to fit.
