touratech mount for 08 1200 gsa

hi can anyone help, i bought a touratech mount for the zumo 550 from the NEC show and im sure the sales person said it would fit a 08 1200 gsa, when it arrived i noticed the clamps were to small for mounting on the top bar which secures the screen, i did ask if it would fit there and i was told it would, does anyone know if you can get the larger clamps for it to fit? any help will be most welcome

Probably meant it'll fit the cross bar on the handlebars, not the one on the screen

I happen to have a "spare" BM mount that I used with a Nav 3 on my 2007 GSA scrren upper brace.
