Touratech mount query for zumo 550

hi can anyone help, i bought a touratech mount for the zumo 550 from the NEC show and im sure the sales person said it would fit a 08 1200 gsa, when it arrived i noticed the clamps were to small for mounting on the top bar which secures the screen, i did ask if it would fit there and i was told it would, does anyone know if you can get the larger clamps for it to fit? any help will be most welcome

You may have to add other parts.

The RAM diamond base (two hole fix pattern) can attach to the underside of the cradle, remove small clamps, reuse screws/nuts tec and locate onto the two holes in the centreline.

Using the mount inside the box, and search thru this forum, you'll find images and examples of what others have done. The mount has a four hole AMPS fix plate and the TT cradle usually needs two so a diamond base RAM-B-238 onto the centreline holes is the usual location point, remove clamps and re-use screws/nuts to secure.

I did a bit of a cheat with mine, used 2 black plastic cable clips that mounted round the screen bar a treat and will not scratch. been working like that for the last year a treat.
