Touratech Mudguard Protector (front beak)

Purchased one of these beaks early December. Fitted it around the 15-16th and thought no more of it. Just over a week ago removed beak to fit oil cooler grill and found the bolts that attach the beak to the front sub-frame red rusty. Touratech have said that they are unaware of anybody else having this problem and have requested the bolts be sent back to them for inspection......if anybody else has this protector fitted it might be worth checking.

You are right,those bolts are shitty,it took only a couple weeks to mines to get rusty,and I replaced them with stainless steal screws.When I bought the Reyno oil cooler grill,two big screws,stainless,where provided.I was surprised that touratech dont use them.

Same here, Red rusty bolts..

Was thinking about painting them black anyhow!!

However, if there could be a replacment....
