I have just got myself an oil cooler guard from touratech for my 1200 gsa and have looked at the instructions supplied and they are for the basic 1200 , what i'm looking at doing is removing the beak but don't know how , if there has been a thread about this in the past can someone post a link or some helpful advise.:o

Hi,

Where it advises that you have to undo the oil coooler fixings - you have to - and by some way otherwise you cannot slip the cover over the top of the cooler. You can get at the fixings with a longish screwdriver from back by the handlebars.

If the side panels are really diff to remove its worth putting a smear of grease on the luggs and rubbers.

Well sort of anyway , it's the same instructions as i have with the part (but in colour) and for the 1200 gs not for the gsa

Sorry, I though it said GSA :o and colour is so much more helpful, if you're doing a wiring job :o :o

What's so different between the GS and GSA on fitting the oil cooler guard?
