Can someone tell me how effective the Touratech screen extention is for deflecting wind off the head/ helmet. Someone said its good but can upset the wind flow for pillions. Any info most welcome please.

The touratech screeen extender is fantastic on my 12GSA. I'm 6'5" and was getting really fed up with the buffeting. I tried every combination of screen angle and seat hight to no avail. Then I got a 2nd hand extender off e-bay and the results were amazing. The one I got was a little tatty so I bought some 4mm perspex and made a new screen (re-using the touratech bracket) and in the process made it a couple of inches higher (slightly narrower at the top to offset the increased surface area). The result is perfect. I can now ride visor up at 85 with no buffet and can clearly feel the airflow skimming just above the top of my helmet. The difference is remarkable
I tried to attach a photo of the new screen but I couldn't reduce the file size enough. If there are any experts our there who can tell me how to do this I will have another go
