Could anybody give me the low down on the touratech screen spoiler/extender ie: is it worth while, does it work......

I have a 1150gsa and am a bit bored with the heads hake/buffeting.

Interested to hear your views:)

Cheers:thumb2

Works well enough for me. I'm 5'10" and long in the body.

Hard to say if it'll work for you. You really need to try one.

they have some demo ones in the shop in south wales!!! if your not far away its worth a tryout before you buy!!

you dont need the clip on with the desertio it works brwilliantly on its own!!! i know i got one on me 1150!!

But do you know regarding the Touratech F800/650 desierto screen, can you fit the clip on extender on to them making a humungouse screen ?

does it work :nenau

sorry to :hijacked :toungincheek

Didn't really do it for me. I'm 6'2", standard 1150GS, seat on high. Lot of buffeting around 70mph.

So I sold it after I tried a set of tobinators on the standard screen. Much better for me.

I am 6' 2" and would not have bought my 1200 GSA without one.
Had another rider not come in at just the right time and let me borrow his, to put on the demo bike, there would have been no deal.

It makes a MASSIVE difference to the wind noise.
I do not even have to put the visor down (I hate visors, except when riding in a tempest).

I bought one for my gsa after another guy saod what a difference it makes and he wasnt wrong.

Im 5'10 and ride on the motorway with the visor up and hot days, you just get a little trickle of wind. I can sit up another 1" and get a full blast of wind. The spoiler just takes the wind over the top of my helmet.

Defo get one...there expensive but you do find them on ebay

1150GSA here, I tried both the Touratech version and the Wunderlich and I prefer the latter. The mounting on the Wunderlich is rock solid with no stupid strap.
