Touratech tank connection?

Has anybody connected there front mounted touratech tank via the overflow of the main tank and does it work ok?

Or is it better to fix the connectors as per the instructions to the main tank?

Mine was installed as per the TT instructions and it works seamlessly, however others report that using the overflow is just as successful.

I added quick release fuel lines so I can syfen fuel or empty the tanks it Also speeds up removal when cleaning the air filter etc.

Straight into the breather on the top of the rear tank works just great.... on the plus side you dont need pipe clamps if you want to take the tank off.

Yes, mine is connected to the breather - seems a much simpler option than removing and drilling the tank, and it can be returned to stock at any time.

Connect the two "lobes together with a T-piece, then run that straight on to the existing tank breather. Job done.
