Hi, my 2007 R1200R is a non-starter. Battery seems ok, bike turns over but doesn't start. Petrol ok. There is no primer noise when the ignition is switched from the fuel pump, so I suspect the fuel pump or connection to it. It has been starting and running ok until I took seat off the find out what battery it has. I didn't take the battery out but guessed I may have disturbed something. Any ideas ?

Turning over but not firing, I'd suspect the fuel pump controller.
It can be bypassed with wires direct to the battery to test if it will then start before you spend money on a new one.
Google/Youtube will show you how.

I think you are right, there's no fuel pump priming sound when I switch the ignition on. I've seen the fuel pump bypass vids on YouTube, I'm not really competent enough to do that, I'd probably muck it up and pay to have it fixed anyway! Looks like a trip to my local bike guy ....
