Our annual Touratech Travel Event held at Touratech UK HQ in Ystradgynlais, South Wales attracts hundreds of adventure motorcycle enthusiasts to the area from all over Europe – this year’s event will be FREE TO ATTEND with the aim of attracting a wider range of motorcycle fans in order to inform them of the equipment, considerations and preparations that need to be made when undertaking an extensive trip (be it on a national or global scale). The event is comprised of adventure related talks and workshops, off-road and on-road riding, food and drink (Hog Roast and barbecue), trade stands and a chance to mingle with adventure motorcycling celebrities in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Those attending this years event include:

  • Sam Manicom
  • Chris Scott
  • Graham Hoskins
  • Tom Woodrows' Adventure and Travel Cinema
  • ToursAreUs
  • Touratech UK MD Nick Plumb
  • Performance Parts
  • Feridax (SHOEI helmets)
  • Halvarssons clothing representatives
  • Continental Tyres

(Please note: we are awaiting confirmation from other adventure motorcycling industry guests and additional trade stands - announcements will be made via our newsletters, website and social media pages (facebook and twitter) as we receive details).

Touratech UK MD Nick Plumb will be on hand to talk about panniers, crash bars and suspension, plus the new Companero Worldwide and Companero BOREAL riding suits.

We have also booked Walters Arena (as used for the famous annual Dawn to Dusk Enduro races) for the weekend - why not bring along your own bike and try out the course for yourself, ranging from easy-going gravel to more extreme sections for those riding larger bikes. For those looking for a real challenge we will have 2014 Husqvarna Enduro and Motocross models to test ride at the arena - providing something for everyones riding abilities!

Spread the word - we look forward to seeing you all in May.

For more information/regular updates visit www.touratech.co.uk or visit the Travel Event page for updates and galleries of our previous events.

Brilliant weekend, weather was kind, camping was free (sorry Nick I didn't get to use your new showers!), food was great (well done Teg and the crew), and a great bunch of friendly travelers to chat to. Graham Hoskins was a definite inspiration, Dakar Dreams was very inspirational so who knows!

Another great weekend

Thanks all - great chat with Chris Scott - both him and Ted Simon have got a lot to answer for :beerjug:
