Just got a set and upper body bars a bit of a faf to fit. Main thing is should fit with OE engine bars, they do, and OE lights and wont. Lamps and mount catch on bars making it impossible to get adjustment correct. Tried all sorts of variations with supplied spacers and washers but no luck. Bars do fit without lamps ok. Green circle is where I had to fit 5mm longer bolt than supplied as would only just catch on new captive bolt.
Any one fitted a set or got a solution. Just emailed Nick at TTUK see what happens.
Thanks

Had the same problem, dispensed with the what I call the V bar for the lights and purchased the GSA light bar, had it made to fit as it is slight too wide and welded to the protection bar ( crash Bar) I would send you photos but I'm away from home at present, once back in a few day I forward them.

Hi Chris. Remember you having that done. The TT ones are supposed to work with factory lights without mods and instructions show them fitted. Just not happy with the way the lights and mounts are pressed against the bars. Will see what Happens

How strong are the mounting points for these bars? If they are not fixed to something solid they will do more harm than good.

Ah, it's yourself Ted. Mine was a Wunderlich protection bar. As I said, the only way round it is to purchase a GSA light bar, take an inch or two out of the width and weld it to the protection bar. Lights can then be full adjustable. See you mid to end of March in regards the pannier mounting.

Top mounts same as the Adv ones only difference is they clamp to lower bars rather than welded. They fit ok without the lights but point is they are supposed to be made to allow fitting of OE lights and at moment dont.

Didn't say that on web site.. :blast
Waiting for reply from Germany to see what to do. Even with the smaller LED ones brackets would need some "work " to make them fit. Got some better pics now. Bars on there own fit well and look ok
On a good note the SWMotech foot pegs are great. Set to lower setting just take enough bend out of my knee for comfort.:thumb2
Next time you're about pop in for a cuppa.
