Touratech Waiting Times

Was looking at the full one-piece "low seat" for the GSA1200 LC. After some considerable research, decided to aim for the Touratech 1-piece low seat.

Enquired today by phone and was told that the back order time is 3 months The lady was very pleasant/helpful, however, but could only suggest that just maybe it might be sooner, but impossible to predict.

Surely the TTech Company can do better than this for delivery times during peak season ? It'll be the start of autumn before the seat comes into stock, which is not that clever. Then the seats will be sat on TTechs shelves waiting to be sold, perhaps.

I am genuinely astonished that it can take quarter of a year to deliver a product for which there's back orders and from a neighbouring EU country. It takes less time to order a new car and have it built to spec. Heaven knows how long it'll take if we go for a Brexit.

I was in the showroom in Aachen last week and I think they had one on the shelf

The Rotterdam BMW dealer is also a Touratech outlet. They had on display all 3 sizes of seat last year, at £100 less than the UK price.

From past experience with touratwat, They wont sell you it in Britain , because they want you to go through the wales shop ,

Herr Hornig (Helmut) sent me an email saying 6 weeks but it was quicker than that.
