In this month's Ride Magazine review of the 1200Gs and 1150GS, there is a sidebar entitled "The Goodies" which mentions the Touratech Xenon headlights.
I have done a couple of searches on this forum and found both positive and negative comments (i.e. Main beam is better but dipped beam is no better)
Basically what I'd like to know is
Does the kit upgrade both main and dipped beam?
Are they any better?
Are they better for for both main and dipped beams?
Do they replace the existing headlight(s)?
Are they easy to fit?
Are there any problems with fuses etc afterwards?
Any info appreciated.
P.S. don't be confused by the bike in my profile this request is for a friend who has an 1150GS with a cracked headlight lens and would like to replace it with something better.
