Recently purchased some bling for the bike from Touratech in Germany, which came to about £240 after conversion from the Euro. If I bought the very same stuff from Touratat UK, it would have come to £311. So where does the extra £70 go? The German site includes 19% VAT and the UK one 15% but still can't figure out the rip off prices from Touratat UK.

Personally, I'd pay a premium to avoid dealing with TT in the UK

As would a lot of other folks; no-one likes paying Plumby tax.

Bet you didn't know that Nick Plumb is now having helicopter lessons....

Much as I hate to defend TT etc I'll bet the prices were decided around Christmas 2008 when the £ v € was almost 1 : 1. Now it's back up to £1 = €1.15 it makes them look like money grabing leeches.
