Looking for info from anyone who has made this swap.
Is it possible to mount the TT ally panniers made for the 1150 (the special set with the exhaust cutout) onto a 1200 using the 1200 specific TT frames?.

I have just sold my Zegas to an 1150 owner, but still have the frames to suit a 1200 which I recently had shot blasted and powder coated in silver (they were black originally).

If you want the frames drop me a PM and we'll come to an arrangement.

EDIT: Mine are the standard hoop type frames, I don't know about special sets with cut-outs as mine were 35L and 42L respectively.

Cheers Adam,i may just be doing that.
Just need to do a wee bit of 1200 buying negotiation first.:thumb

The Company Name is TouraTECH

Why is TWAT the most used word on this site. TWAT suit, touraTWAT etc.

The RALLY PRO is a well designed bike suit. Mine has been used all year, in all weathers and has survived two offs without damage. The TWAT to me is the person who writes it off with stupid labels.

Touratech, is one of many companies making parts for GSs, including OEM kit. Nobody refers to ZtechnikTWAT, HID50TWAT or any of the others. OK so some of the stuff in their catalogue may be a bit OTT but who is the TWAT here, the company making a profit or the TWAT who buys it.

Grow up guys. I guess that if you have a licence to drive a GS you are over 21.

For the selfless amusement of others?

Hello Andy, I have learned mucho stuff on here, reading about others' issues / probs.

Mostly though, UKGSer is just funny and entertaining. The practical info / help etc can be bought-in. Humour / entertainment is priceless.

Sometimes I need cheering up. And every little helps. :comfort

Far be It from me to attempt to educate you,but Ithink youll find that TOURATWAThave gained their title ,not from the quality of their wares,
but the abysmal service received by a great number of people from Touratech UK.

Their deliveries used to be abysmal but over the last two years I have ordered a number of items for my wife's and my bike.

On the rare occasion when they have been unable to deliver from stock within a couple of days they have always immediately emailed a projected delivery which has always been complied with.

Whether or not their deliveries are good I still don't see how this justifies such a juvenile name change.

we r a TWALCOM stockiest cant wait for the twang on us :hide
