touring Mont Blanc/Matterhorn areas?

yes I know its not a 12GS only question but come on its the best bike to do it on! (DUCK) has anyone been to this area? if so any recommendations for roads/ hotels? ta all,

Went over the Furka pass a couple of weeks ago - excellent. It's hard to go wrong in the alps, just stay off the main roads which are clogged with HGVs.
Chamonix is very popular with the climbing set, but if you prefer a less commercial place avoid it.
