Hello,
off round Yerp for a fortnight this summer on my 1150 GSA.
France, Switzerland etc.
Any suggestions for spare bits to carry. Was thinking puncture repair kit, spare fuses, the odd headlight bulb and sparkplugs. Any other nuggets from the more well travelled out there.

You've just about covered it matey... I would suggest having the bike serviced before hand - you can get paranoid about bits to take with you However it's not like you're going overland to Ulan Bator... So if you do have a problem getting it sorted within 24hrs shouldn't really be too much of a problem. 'sods law' kinda dictates that the stuff you take wont be needed anway. - and carrying a spare tyre (or gear box) isn't easy.

Comedy breasts. Always useful in a host of diverse circumstances.

Aaah a quality and very useful response.

Spares

Take an alternator belt plus instructions how to fit (photo copy) gaffer tape . cable ties, few nuts and bolts and a couple of bungees. Possibly a fuel filter
all small stuff but could save you probs. also if it's a Haynes (smaller not better) manuel stuff it in somewhere. Enjoy the trip thats the most important thing.

When I went to Romania last year I did 1800m in 24h
I ride non stop but I never had a punchers or any problem with my bike
I serviced the bike at Vines in Guildford before the trip and thats it
The only think I need it it was oil and petrol

That's a 75mph average if you never stopped to put your feet down, let alone fill up with petrol.I'd have a check of your numbers if I was you

Way you are so surprised I did Hastings to Land's end and back in 10h
I think it was 817m but I dont record the average sped
But in my way to Romania I blast 100-110mph non stop only for petrol and at the same time double espresso.

I think you can work out the average sped [sic] to be 81.7 mph.

In the UK  get real:augie

Oh I should mention I once did the Kessler Run in under 9 parsecs.
Not quite sure what the average speed was.

How I laughed!! 817miles in 10 hrs. must've been a particularly scenic (and slow) route too - to do that journey over 817 miles.
