Just for fun ... or an interesting thing to try. Lets call it a new hobby! I was thinking about making some fancy pipes for my 1150.

Ive looked on ebay and there are loads of folk selling stainless bends of various angles, so thats not a problem.
Ive looked at tig&mig welders. A huge variety of types and prices available.

I was just goin to chop the manifold bits from a standard set of pipes and work from there.

Anybody got any advice ?

I think for welding stainless with a MIG you need a gas type not gasless

the above link I used for reference when I was building my bike lift and needed some pointers with welding, also I did do a wee bit on the Buell exhaust and because the metal is thin it's quite hard to weld, where as the thicker the metal (to a point) the easier it is to weld.

just my 2p worth
