Hi, I have had this little car for the last 11 years used by my daughter and myself. It has never let us down.
It has done 117500 miles and should be reliable for a good few more. It's not in pristine condition but has been serviced regularly by myself. The last servie was at 112383 miles when it had new front disks and pads. Has just had tracking done and 4 new tires fitted since it passed MOT in March. Also had a new exhaust back box in November last year.
Great car for someone who don't wont to go very fast on motorways or live at the top af a steep hill. It has a mighty 1L 3 cylinder engine.
Good bits,
£20 road tax and cheap insurance.
Handles like a gokart. 5 doors and the luxury of electric front windows.
Aircon works not ice cold but it makes a difference.
Reversing sensors.
Radio works.
engine ticks away like a very small sewing machine
Drives in a straight line and stops really well when you brake.
Not so good bits.
Covered in little dings and the odd scrape. Paint is beginning to bloom and the laquer is starting to peel.
Rear window demister not working.
Clutch is OK but gear changing improves when it has warmed up.
Will brobably need a new battery next winter as on very cold mornings she has a slow cranking speed
There is a slight oil leak of about 0.5L per 1000 miles. The oil drips on the manifold so when stuck in traffic it's advisable to open a window.
It has an outstanding advisory for the rear windows. I just haven't been arsed to get it sorted.
