......they have a three cyl engine so have an appealing engine note plus they are great fun on a twisty lane (hence him not having it any more ... ahem)

Agreed, a right laugh to drive. That engine buzzing away, bugger all weight and really quick steering....a bit like a go-kart. We had one as a loan car after my wife kindly smashed our car to pieces. I was sorry to see the Aygo go back.
