My 2 week old gs 1250 has started displaying the flat tyre icon next to the tyre pressures on the TFT. Tyres are right pressure on 2 different gauges, don't lose air, no splits tears ,nails or screws Dealer has never heard of it, NO yellow or red warning illuminations either, manual checked to no gain Any ideas?

Yep, interference. Had it a few times, it will go away. It picks it up off anything that emits a signal, like automatic doors at garages etc.

The first time mine did it it took a while to go off, nearly 100km in the Pyrenees I think before it reset its self.

You are welcome to your opinion and I thought that when my dealer told me.

The tyre pressure warning threshold can be set in the settings menu of my 2021GSA. Have you checked yours is set correctly. Page 89 in my handbook.

Just to prove it was all codswallop here is the reading from my GS911 after it played up at the dark skies rally in Kielder.

I can only see what is there, they can suffer from interference, it can happen to any wireless system. You obviously have more knowledge of these things than I do, so I bow to it.

Apply a little common sense.
BMW telling you its normal lol and that it's interference, don't worry about it.
In 200k miles never have any of my bikes experienced that.
It's a fault. Not interference.

I wouldn’t say it normal, well I hope it isn’t. Personally I don’t think it’s the wheel sensor end that is giving me my issue as I’ve had it happen on two different sets of wheels. First time on my cast wheels in Spain, did it with just 4000miles on the clock, then never done it again on those wheels for the next three years I had them. I sold those wheels and now have two sets of spokes I run and the picture from the gs911 wi-fi (a non bmw product) was from the last time it did it last month at Kielder.

I think more than likely my sensor module, as you probably know the LC uses a different sensor set up to the hex heads as you have to reprogram them every time you swap wheels.

Glad we are having this discussion as I may have found my issue. My gen 1 hexcan unit actually plugs into the RDC unit under the seat.
That was also giving me issues that weekend with one light channel not working, spoke to hexcan and they said the wiring inside to unit could be degrading over time, they are right next to each other so wondering if the RDC is picking up of that, never considered that until now.
