TPMs pulling my hair out!?

TPMS is it really worth it - another gigimmick

This is the question I asked myself when I ordered my 1250RS SE back in June. I decided I didn't want the comfort pack that cost the rhick end of £800 including Clueless ether but did want the heated grips.

Watching too much Youtube (I blame the shoite weather) I've just got the Chigee TPMS kit. I've not fitted it yet but at £110 it looks good value compared with the OE version.

BTW what's a gigimmick, is it some big mega EV battery factory somewhere south of Dublin?

Using a manual pencil gauge while riding along poses certain challenges.

Unless it is a massive puncture TPMS gives you early warning of decreasing tire pressure affording you enough time to slow down and get off the road before handling is seriously affected.

Really ?
None of my bikes have ever had it
Had a few punctures over the years and tubeless tyres soon let you know
Another gimmick to extract more coin and forced on us by the manufacturer to turn bikes into cars
Bikes are supposed to be exciting…..and mildly dangerous

I'm glad I don't have this unnecessary shite on any of my bikes or esa and abs tft and silly wheels keep it basic and get on and enjoy the ride rather than BMW dealer taking me for a ride

Well said, that man
Manual ops is the best
What a fecking disgrace we have become as bikers with all this foisted on us, for more coin

That made me laugh out loud, especially as we’re on the Emerald Isle right now
I shall see if I can find it
