TPMS Tire Pressure Sensor

Can anyone point me in the right direction, I have googled and searched but have only found replacement sensor complete with valve, but only actually need the valve that goes into the front wheel sensor, short story garage broke the valve off fitting new tyre on mates bike, easiest solution is to replace the valve, but cannot find one, I have seen the repair kits at motorworks, but it does not include the valve itself, cheers. must add it is for the spoked wheel.

I think you'll find that the TPMS is complete with the valve stem..... they are a single unit....

yep it was what I am thinking also, searched high and low, and have found nothing, cheers, wonder if I could find an old defective unit, and maybe get the valve stem out.

Garage broke stem garage pay for replacement TPS, fitting and re-coding

You'll be lucky to find an old unit and if you do you won't separate the stem from it and fit it to the broken one. New unit complete is only answer afaik.

Thanks mate seems that is what they will have to do in the end, I have really looked hard and found nothing, it is just that I seen these on the internet and thought the stem might just unscrew if I found an old unit, however he only gets the old unit back from them today, so when I can physically see it, I will know better, but I reckon you will be correct it will be the one that does not seperate, so new one installed it shall be.

They could have a nightmare trying to wake the new sensor in order to pair its coding to the bikes ecu. Even BMW were cursing when they had to replace one of mine that broke, and they were using the proper main dealer kit.

If you can, get a photo of the barcodes and info on the new sensor before they fit it. You can then manually enter the codes using a GS911 in future should you need to.

Cheers mate, that is the plan, I have the GS-911 so all good, might end up getting an Autel TS401 always a handy thing to have.
