Traffic notice for Sunday 11 April

On Sunday 11 April 2010, the Quay Vipers Motorcycle Club from Carrickfergus are planning a charity 'rideout' along the Coastal Road from Carrickfergus on the following route: Carrickfergus to Larne to Cushendall to Waterfoot and on to Glenarriff Forest for a short break. It will then move off via McGregor’s Corner to Moorfields to Larne and back to Carrickfergus.
The PSNI will monitor the rideout, police it and assist at major junctions in order to reduce congestion. It is estimated that up to 1,000 motorcycles will participate in the run.
The rideout will move off at 13:00 hours. Major congestion is being anticipated along the route.
