Timpo.

Yes I will be there for 8.30am comin from Sunny Telford, I have a 04 plate crf 250x with a CRD exhaust on her, is this ok?
As this is my first green lane expedition, is there any tips or items i should bring with me, other than my bike and gear??

If its as cold and icy as it is up here it will be extra skippy on the rocky sectioons so take some spare clutch and brake levers although Timpo normally has a spare......(damhik):augie:augie

Have fun and take cameras:thumb2

I like the video that came up "Nightmare on Alti Baddy"
Please take some video on this trip after all it won't be me up sh+tcreak this time:D
Have a good one:thumb

Cheers Hew, I'm taking the head cam again - set to the correct height this time hopefully! I got 5 hours of footage last time out which was pretty much the whole ride! It took a couple of hours just to edit it all down:type See you on the next one:beerjug:

Good photos Timpo and it sounds like a great day out whilst I was missing all the fun and freezing my nuts off helping first timers through their CBT:mad:

Good!:D
When you coming next time?:nenau

Timpo.

PS. Me and Tina reckon you may need a tetnis injection as them Blackthorns aren't the best things to have sticking in to you.

Foxy 1 Swan 0

Riding down Pant Gwyn Lane this afternoon I came across a sight that spoilt the day for me.
As a few of you will know, the last time we rode this route, I was very concerned about a Swan that was on a small piece of water. The animal seemed to have a damaged wing and when I returned home, i called the RSPCA to get the local inspector to take a look.
Well, today we found it's remains, I guess Mr. Fox had taken full advantage of the bird whilst it was roosting.

Oh well, I tried.......:(

This was the Swan the first time I saw it...

Nice photos,
The weather looks better than it was on Saturday. The lanes were fine but the minor roads were covered in ice and snow. I only managed to grab a couple of hours on the bike but I'm glad it warmed up a bit for you.
No worries though nearly spring:bounce1

HI I agree i will get a tetnis jab as it has balloned quite nice this morning, and apply the deep heat for the aches. But what a day still buzzing now, I will have to go to the gym and build up those little muscles.

THanks ferret & ashdrabble for helping at the end of the day, I was fit to drop.

What Happened to Buckles ?

As I send this Buckles is at hospital waiting to see if his wrist needs pinning after his get off on Sunday !!!!!, He got potted up yesterday ( i think in more ways than one ) and now has to see the specialist. He must have been in pain riding for a couple more hours, loading his bike and driving 100 miles home:bow
We'll thats put the spanner in the works for the Dragon Rally, now trying to get him a lift over in Laughing Gases sidecar !!!!!!!
Any photos or explenations of his bike / tree interface greatly recieved
