Trail ride, Mold Saturday 12th December.

I'm going trail riding, as per the title, following some of the routes Timpo has been good enough to show me. I'll be on a 640 Adventure, and will be happy to show a limited number (5-7)of people around.
It will be wet, it is North Wales after all, so knobblies are a must.

Mark, if the lanes are the same ones you, Timpo, and a few others did around Mold in a RR last year in mid winter, I think the 12 is gonna struggle on the best lanes? I'll probably give it a regretful miss as I don't want to hold anyone up or kill my bike

Those will be the ones, but there shouldn't be any ice on them this weekend!
I reckon you would have to go on tarmac around a third of the lanes we hope to do on Saturday.

Cheers Mark. Would prefer to do all the lanes. Don't want to hold you guys on whippersnappers up, so let me know next time you're organising a day for big trailies.

He'll end up buying another BMW to go with his wardrobe How about a X Challenge or a Dakar like the Flipmeister... Stevie don't be buying a pogo to much roadwork you'll have more fun on a 650

I'm well happy with my Super Enduro but when I look at the type of riding I've been doing this year ...A 650 cc would have been a better choice should have gone for KTM 690 or the X Challenge ...

Totally agree with you Pip, I've developed a fixation with Timolgra's Dakar Rallye bike that's for sale . Too much wedge though for me, and a tad overkill for green laning. I'm also in love with the Gasgas EC450 Desert...really well priced!! When I get a second bike for laning, it'll more than likely be a 650 dakar, but I was thinking of something more POGOesque, cos I wouldn't mind doing some enduro rallies next year.
